Dear La Toya Fans & Special Friends:
We would like to thank you all for your love, support and your patience waiting for the new La Toya Jackson CD, ‘Startin' Over’ to be released. A lot of you have written us and asked if the CD is still coming out. The answer to that question is: "Yes! Yes! And Yes! It IS of course still coming out and we can't wait for you to hear it"! We're all SO EXCITED about this album here at Ja-Tail Records, Bungalo Records and Universal Music. It is our top priority to ensure that this album gets the proper marketing and promotion it deserves before its release. Right now we're in discussions with La Toya over the concept of her music video which will be for her first single released on radio off the "Startin' Over" CD. “What?” you might ask? “What about the two other singles which charted high on the Billboard Dance charts?” (Please continue reading below for a clarification).
La Toya has also been working extremely hard on several other projects that are very close to her heart and which you will hear and see all about very soon.
It is somewhat unfortunate that because of the continued delays (due to past distribution decisions and unforeseen mishaps - some of which are public knowledge) a lot of the songs from the original ‘Startin’ Over’ song list have surfaced all over the internet. Of course we knew this would happen and we're happy you like the songs, but we have amazing news for you: those songs you heard on-line are not on the album and the entire song list you are familiar with is NOT the final ‘Startin' Over’ CD song list! The actual song and content list from the ‘Startin' Over’ album has not been published yet and will only be published when we're closer to our 2006 release date. All-new, never-before-heard material and photos will be featured on ‘Startin' Over’. Even the cover art will not resemble what you have previously seen.
In closing, Church Of La Toya, "Toy Soldiers", you guys are GREAT! Keep up the good work and La Toya loves you all. "Just say her name, just say La Toya"!

A Personal Message from La Toya Jackson
I would like to give all of you heartfelt thanks for your continued voices of encouragement and for your amazing support of Michael during the trying days that now, thankfully, lie behind us. Thank you so very much!
It has meant a great deal to me, to Michael and to our whole family.
It is truly wonderful to have such amazing and loyal fans!
This is a very big victory for Michael and we are all very proud that he has been completely and totally vindicated in court, as we were certain he would be.
I am pleased to tell you that he is finally getting some rest and is regaining his appetite as well.
The end of the trial and the 'not guilty' verdicts on all counts, clearing Michael of all charges, mean that he can now concentrate on the future and his art.
He will be beginning a brand new chapter in the Michael Jackson LEGEND.
This means that I am not the only person 'Startin' Over' -
Michael is now STARTING OVER as well.
As a matter of fact, this will be a brand new beginning for all of us.

Ja-Tail Records announced today that they have secured a distribution deal with Bungalo Records to distribute La Toya’s new music through
music giant,
Universal Music and Video Distribution.
La Toya’s long anticipated album, Startin’ Over, will be available in stores

is finally coming to ABC's
20/20 this upcoming Friday!
La Toya will talk openly and frankly about her private life and
most intimate
personal experiences. Topics will include her often controversial past, her
abusive marriage, her divorce and how she found the inner strength
to move
on in life and "Start Over". La Toya will discuss what it was like
growing up in the legendary and infamous Jackson Family and she will reveal
her new outlook on life and her renewed career ambitions.
La Toya will also
make confessions regarding her relationship
with her brother Michael Jackson.
La Toya will also talk about her upcoming new album 'Startin' Over' which is also based on her past emotions and her new found energy and optimism.
When asked why she released her first single under her nickname ‘Toy,’
La Toya
Jackson
replied, “Unfortunately my name brings preconceived judgments associated
with my family or my past with it and I wanted everybody to know me as I am,
and have always been, and not the media personification of 'me'.
I wanted people
to judge the song on its merit, not on tabloid headlines.
I couldn't be more
thrilled with the results so far and am looking forward to getting back to
the studio to finish recording the album.”
